The adventure unleashes on stunning trails of the Nagano Prefecture, where every stride brings a mix of thrilling undulating terrain, short steep climbs, and heart-pounding descents weaving through lush mountain forests and open paths. The ground shifts from soft, springy grass to rugged dirt tracks, keeping your senses sharp and your legs firing.

The second day of the Adventure Race Japan (ARJ) shifts the focus to true teamwork. After the demanding trail run/hike of Day 1, your legs and body will likely feel the accumulated fatigue from the elevation, terrain, and effort—but there’s no easing up, as another full day of adventure awaits in the stunning landscapes.
Your performance during both days, together with your team fundraising, will be factored in to determine an overall event winner. So there will be far more to this challenge than simply being first across the finish line on day 1!!
